Difference Between Member’s Area Traffic and Non-Members area Traffic
🔒 Member’s Area (MA) Traffic
Member’s Area (MA) Traffic comes from websites and platforms where users are required to register an account and, in many cases, pay for access or maintain an active subscription. Because these users are already engaged and have demonstrated a willingness to sign up or spend money online, MA traffic often delivers higher-quality visitors and stronger conversion rates than traditional free-content sources.
Within the Adzumo platform, these placements are easily identifiable, as the corresponding ad zones include “MA” in their name.
🌐 Regular Non – MA Traffic
Regular Traffic (image gallery sites, email clicks), originates from websites that provide free content to the general public without requiring users to create an account or pay for access.
This type of traffic typically offers larger volumes and broader reach, making it ideal for campaigns focused on scale, awareness, or testing new creatives and offers.
Which Traffic Type Should You Choose?
- Choose Member’s Area (MA) Traffic if you’re looking to reach highly engaged users who are more likely to convert and have a proven history of interacting with premium online services.
- Choose Regular non – MA Traffic if your priority is maximizing reach, testing campaigns at scale, or accessing high-volume audiences through free-content publishers.
Understanding UTC and Day Parting in Adzumo
Adzumo runs on UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and does not change with Daylight Saving Time. Stats and reporting within the platform will not be affected by DST changes.
All campaigns on the Adzumo platform use UTC as the system time zone.
If you’re using day parting to schedule when your ads are shown, you’ll need to convert your target audience’s local time into UTC before configuring your campaign. This ensures your ads are delivered during the intended hours, regardless of the country or region you’re targeting.
Example
Suppose you’re running a campaign targeting users in the United Kingdom and want your ads to appear between 6:00 PM and 10:00 PM local time during the winter months.
Because the UK operates on UTC during this period, you would simply set your campaign’s day parting to 18:00–22:00 UTC.
Now consider a campaign targeting New York (Eastern Time), where you want ads to run between 8:00 PM and midnight. During Eastern Daylight Time (UTC-4), you would configure the campaign in Adzumo to run from 00:00 to 04:00 UTC.
Using day parting effectively can improve click-through rates, increase conversion rates, and help you allocate your advertising budget more efficiently by showing ads only during peak engagement periods.
Conversion Tracking
Log in to your Adzumo account.
API settings are located here https://adzumo.net/profile → select API Settings. From here you can generate your API key and whitelist your tracker’s IP address.
You can also access API settings and conversion tracking from the sidebar under the Advertisers section.
1. Enable conversion Tracking
By clicking the “Conversion Tracking” button to the right of the title on this page, you convert your dashboard to track conversions – you may switch between these modes by clicking that button at any time and you will not lose data
2. Generate your API Key
Generate an API key if you have not already (or revoke it if you choose). You’ll need this key to complete the next steps.
API Key example a7f3c9b2e4d81f6502a9c7e3b84d0f12
3. Store your clicks
Getting your conversion ID
Each click will append a value that you can obtain through the GET parameter to your creatives URL.
What kind of data to expect
Below is how a conversion ID will look, so that you know what kind of data to expect.
Example:
https://your-creative-url.com/?mydata=mydata&myconversion={conversion}
Example ID:
fahh50fcXcdc0Xdc6dX1ba2Xg0cgf64gccc3Jaddfbbege0
Now you can store that conversion ID however you want so that it may be posted back upon conversion.
Note: To insert a conversion ID you must include the {conversion} shortcode.
4. Send your conversion
Making a request to the API
Posting a conversion back to Adzumo is very simple, taken you have followed the above steps and assuming you have stored the conversion ID.
Upon a conversion you should send a POST / GET request to our api.
Conversion Endpoint:
POST – https://api.adzumo.net/v1/advertiser/conversion/add/?token=YOUR_API_KEY
GET – https://api.adzumo.net/v1/advertiser/conversion/add/?token=YOUR_API_KEY&atrack=YOUR_TRACKING_CODE&amount=YOUR_AMOUNT
Request parameters
The POST request requires you to send two parameters, the conversion ID as well as the value of the conversion.
The GET request requires you to append two parameters to the URL, the conversion ID as well as the value of the conversion.
POST/GET parameters:
atrack – (required) The conversion ID which you obtained from the click
amount – (required) The value of the conversion
subid – (optional) A unique identifier for your conversion (e.g. signup/rebill/etc)
5. Setup your post-back
Your current post-back URL
Use the below URL to send your conversions back to Adzumo.
Example: https://api.adzumo.net/v1/advertiser/conversion/add/?token=a7f3c9b2e4d81f6502a9c7e3b84d0f12&atrack={conversion}&amount={amount}&subid={YOUR_OPTIONAL_SUB_ID}
Here are tokens to use when setting Adzumo up as a traffic source which include the conversion parameter:
Using Labels for Your Campaigns
As the number of campaigns in your Adzumo account grows, keeping everything organised becomes increasingly important. One of the easiest ways to do this is by using Labels.
Campaign labels allow you to group and categorise campaigns based on factors such as GEO, vertical, traffic source, or testing stage, making them easier to find and manage.
To create a label:
- Go to the Campaigns page.
- Click the Labels icon.
- Select Create New.
- Enter a name for your label and apply it to the relevant campaigns.
Using labels is a simple but effective way to keep your dashboard organised and streamline campaign management.
What Are Flash Sales?
Flash Sales Overview
Flash Sales are discounted, fixed-rate CPM campaigns that come with guaranteed traffic delivery. These limited-time deals operate on a first-come, first-served basis — meaning the first advertiser to complete the purchase wins exclusive access to that specific traffic package.
Once a Flash Sale deal is sold, it is no longer available to other advertisers.
Flash Sales are a great opportunity to:
- ✅ Test new traffic sources at a reduced cost
- ⚡ Access guaranteed impressions without auction competition
- 💡 Discover new verticals or audience segments with minimal risk
Keep an eye on your Adzumo dashboard and newsletters for the latest Flash Sale announcements — they go fast!

Obtaining Popunder Privilege
How to Gain Access to Popunder Ads
To start running Popunder campaigns on Adzumo, you’ll first need to obtain Popunder Privilege. This helps us ensure that all advertisers using Popunder formats meet our compliance and quality standards.
Popunder Advertising Rules
We maintain a strict compliance policy for Popunder ads to ensure user safety and brand integrity. Please review the full guidelines here:
👉 Why Were My Banners Rejected?
In general, Popunder ads must not include:
- ❌ Fake virus or malware alerts
- ❌ JavaScript-based pops on page entry
- ❌ Multiple popunders on a single trigger
- ❌ Auto-downloaders or forced downloads
- ❌ Misleading content pretending to be official programs (e.g., fake Adobe Flash updates)
- ❌ Auto-redirects or forced navigation
Violating these rules may result in account suspension without prior notice.
Can I Run iFrames in Adzumo?
iFrame Permissions and Usage Policy
For security and compliance reasons, iFrame permissions are only granted to trusted advertisers who have built an ongoing relationship with Adzumo.
We do not allow iFrames for new users within the network.
Additionally, iFrames can only be used as part of approved fixed-deal campaigns that have been reviewed and authorized by our compliance team.
This policy ensures full transparency, ad quality control, and brand safety across our network.
Flat Bidding & Smart Bidding
Understanding Adzumo’s Bidding Options
In Adzumo, advertisers can choose between two bidding strategies when setting up their campaigns — Flat Bidding and Smart Bidding. Both offer flexibility depending on your campaign goals and optimization style.
🟦 Flat Bidding
Flat Bidding gives you full control over your bid price.
You manually set your bid (CPM or CPC), and it remains constant until you decide to change it.
This option is ideal for advertisers who:
- Prefer fixed costs and predictability
- Are running budget-controlled tests
- Want complete manual control over optimization
Example:
If you set your bid at $2.50 CPM, you’ll always pay that rate, regardless of competing bids.
🟩 Smart Bidding
Smart Bidding allows you to set a maximum bid, while the system dynamically adjusts your real-time bidding price.
The algorithm automatically bids just above the next highest competitor, ensuring you win impressions efficiently without overpaying.
This strategy helps you:
- Improve cost efficiency
- Compete smarter in high-traffic zones
- Reduce manual optimization time
Example:
If your maximum bid is $3.00 CPM, and the next advertiser is bidding $2.50, you’ll only pay slightly more — around $2.51–$2.55 CPM — depending on auction dynamics.
Choosing the Right Bidding Strategy
Goal | Recommended Option | Why |
Precise budget control | Flat Bidding | Fixed, predictable pricing |
Automated optimization | Smart Bidding | Adjusts bids dynamically for efficiency |
Testing new zones | Flat Bidding | Easier to control ROI per source |
Scaling profitable traffic | Smart Bidding | Optimizes performance automatically |
Why Is My Campaign Not Receiving Traffic?
Common Reasons Your Campaign May Not Be Serving Impressions
If your campaign isn’t receiving traffic or impressions in Adzumo, don’t worry — this usually comes down to a few simple setup or compliance issues. Below are the most common reasons why a campaign may not be delivering.
⚠️ 1. Your Banners Have Been Rejected
If your banners were rejected during the review process, your campaign will not be eligible to serve traffic until new creatives are approved.
Check your campaign’s status and review any notes provided by the compliance team for clarification.
🚫 2. Your Banners Violate Publisher Restrictions
Each publisher has specific content restrictions (e.g., no cams, no escort services).
If your creative or ad type conflicts with these restrictions, your campaign will be blocked from appearing on that publisher’s inventory.
You can review the full list of restrictions under:
👉 Can I Block Certain Types of Ads?
💰 3. You’re Being Outbid by Other Advertisers
Campaigns compete in real-time bidding. If other advertisers are bidding higher CPM or CPC rates, your ads may not win impressions.
Try increasing your bid slightly or enabling Smart Bidding to stay competitive in auctions.
Learn more here:
👉 Flat Bidding vs. Smart Bidding
⚙️ 4. Incorrect Campaign Setup
A common reason for no traffic is a mismatch between your campaign targeting and zone type.
For example:
- You set the campaign to Mobile, but placed it on a Desktop zone.
- You whitelisted a Member’s Area (MA) source but selected an ad type that source does not accept.
Always double-check your targeting settings, ad types, and device configurations before launching.
🧩 Still Not Receiving Traffic?
If you’ve reviewed all the above and your campaign still isn’t receiving traffic, please contact your Adzumo Account Manager or email us at [email protected] for assistance.

Troubleshooting Stat Visibility
If your campaign stats are not displaying correctly:
- Log out of your account.
- Log back in and check the stats page again.
White & Black Listing
Understanding White List and Black List Targeting
Adzumo gives you full control over your targeting strategy with the White List and Black List features.
These options allow you to fine-tune where your ads appear, ensuring you spend budget only on the traffic sources that perform best for your campaigns.
🟩 White List
A White List is a list of approved sites or zones that you specifically want your ads to run on.
Only traffic from these entities will be accepted and delivered to your campaign.
Use Case:
When you’ve identified high-performing publishers or premium traffic zones and want to focus your spend on them exclusively.
⛔ Black List
A Black List is a list of blocked sites or zones that you do not want your ads to appear on.
Any traffic from these sources will be automatically filtered out.
Use Case:
When you’ve found underperforming sources or low-quality placements and want to prevent your ads from showing there again.
Using White & Black Lists helps improve your ROI, traffic quality, and overall campaign performance by targeting only what works and filtering out what doesn’t.

SubID Optimization

SubID Optimization allows you to improve campaign performance by targeting specific traffic sources based on their SubID. By analysing which SubIDs generate the best results, you can focus your budget on high-performing traffic and exclude underperforming sources.
How Does It Work?
Use the Keyword Targeting field within your campaign to create a whitelist or blacklist of SubIDs.
- Enter one SubID per line
- Up to 50 SubIDs can be added per campaign
- No commas or separators are required
To pass SubID data into your tracker, include the {sub.id} parameter in your creative links.

Why Use SubID Optimization?
- Focus spend on your highest-converting traffic sources
- Exclude low-quality or underperforming placements
- Improve ROI and campaign efficiency
- Gain greater control over traffic quality
As you gather performance data, regularly review your SubIDs and update your targeting to maximise results.
FAQs
Direct Deals
Can I GEO Target Direct Deals?
GEO targeting availability for Direct Deals depends on the specific traffic source and publisher inventory involved.
While some direct deals can be targeted to specific countries or regions, others may only be available on a broader geographic basis. For this reason, GEO targeting requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If you require traffic from specific countries, regions, or markets, please discuss your requirements with your Adzumo Account Manager before booking a direct deal. Our team will advise you on the available targeting options and recommend the most suitable traffic sources for your campaign objectives.
Can You Increase or Decrease My Rotation?
Traffic volumes for Direct Deals are agreed upon and committed to based on the terms of the deal at the time of purchase.
As a result, daily volume and rotation levels generally cannot be increased or decreased while the deal is active. Any changes to traffic allocation or delivery volumes are typically discussed and negotiated during the renewal process.
If you would like to explore different volume levels for future campaigns or renewals, please contact your Adzumo Account Manager or email [email protected] to discuss the available options.
When Will My Traffic Start in Direct Deal campaign?
Traffic will begin as soon as all campaign requirements have been completed and your deal is active.
Before traffic can start, please ensure that:
- Your deal has been finalized
- Your campaign has been set up correctly
- All banners and creatives have been approved
- Sufficient funds are available in your account
Once these requirements have been met, traffic delivery will begin automatically according to the terms of your campaign.
If you have any questions about your campaign status, please contact your Adzumo Account Manager or email [email protected].
Can You Pause My Direct deal Campaign?
For Direct Deals, campaigns cannot normally be paused once they have been approved and traffic delivery has started.
When a direct deal is activated, the agreed inventory is reserved and scheduled specifically for your campaign. As a result, the campaign will continue running until the committed traffic volume has been fully delivered.
If you believe there are exceptional circumstances that require attention, please contact your Adzumo Account Manager or email [email protected] as soon as possible. Our team will review the situation and advise on any available options.

Finance
How do I fund my account?
We accept payment by Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX), Paxum, Wire Transfer, or Crypto.
If you use Crypto as a form of payment, please reach out to us via support with the TxnHash so we can add funds to your account.
💵 The minimum deposit Credit Card $50 (3% fee, $1,000 max transaction), Paxum $250, Wire $500, Crypto $250.
Can I get credit instead of pre-paying?
We are a prepaid network, and campaigns will not go live until the user account is fully funded.
Once a wire payment has been executed, you can upload the proof of payment (upload media) so we can track it down and make sure the funds are quickly allocated.
If you have any issues, please reach out to us on chat or email us: [email protected].
Credit Card Approval
Please ensure that the name on your ID and credit card are matching in order to make the credit card approval process as smooth as possible. Some tips include:
- Fill out all the details needed in your wallet page
- Upload 1 image of a valid photo ID and 1 image of the credit card
- If your credit card has details on the front and back, you can combine both images and upload them as 1 image for verification
- Ensure that the image is below 2mb and is a JPEG file
Please note that for security reasons, we do not accept virtual prepaid cards.
It takes 1-3 business days for the credit cards to be vetted and processed by our compliance team.
Why am I getting an error when I submit my credit card application?
There are only 2 reasons why our system will give you an error:
- an incorrect format for the image(must be below 2mb and file type is JPEG)
- your credit card provider has frozen your account.
If the above rules have been met and you still experience an error, please contact support [email protected].
Adding funds to my account
✔️ We currently support payment through major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), Paxum and wire transfer. All the payment instructions can be found in Adzumo > Wallet.
❌ We DO NOT accept Paypal at the moment.
✔️ We do accept crypto (USDT TRC20).
If you have any issues, please reach out to us on the chat, or email: [email protected].
Why are my funds not appearing in my account after sending money via wire/paxum?
If users do not load their accounts inside Adzumo, it will take about 24-48 hours before funds appear in your account.
We will have to verify the transaction to make sure we are allocating the funds accordingly.
When will funds appear in my account?
Accumulated revenues will be added to your account following our “Net 14 Payment Schedule”. Please note, that there is a two-week holding period for new publisher partners, meaning your cumulative balance will first be available after two pay periods have elapsed; beyond that, a publisher can withdraw funds every fourteen days.
Please contact support for any further clarification.
Can I get a refund from traffic that was already delivered?
We only entertain refund requests for any traffic delivered if it has been proven to be fraudulent.
We will conduct our own investigation and once it has been proven to be fraudulent, a full refund will be granted.
How do I get paid?
Once your account hits the next payout period, you can request a payout.
💵 Our minimum payout is $50. We support Paxum, wire and crypto payment.
For crypto payment, please specify the currency and crypto wallet address in the “Extra Notes” section. Alternatively, you can reach out to us via chat or email us: [email protected].

Using Adzumo API / SubIDs
Adzomo has an API that allows users to efficiently obtain information from their stats/campaigns, without logging into the dashboard.
In order to do this, you have to make an API request, write the code to interact with the API and apply changes to your account programmatically. We support both {sub.id} and {sub.id2} macros for publishers.

I did not receive the verification code on my phone
Unfortunately, phone verification ability differs for each country and is dependent on your service provider and their mobile security regulation. The two factor verification serves as an added layer of security for your account.
If you are unable to receive the verification code on your mobile phone, fret not. You can still have full access in Adzumo (add funds, create campaigns, edit campaigns, add a site, etc). Please reach out to us on intercom if you have any other issues!
Help, I can't access my account!
